There are many amazing benefits to raising bees.  Not only are you supporting pollinators by increasing the number of honey bees, you are increasing the vegetable and fruit yield.  Bees become incredible helpers in your garden by pollenating what you plant. Watching your colony’s activity is fascinating. Bees can be a bit of work to get started, but Bertha + Bee will care for your colony to allow all of the benefits of owning a hive, without the responsibility or know-how to keep your bees productive.  

Bertha + Bee will supply and install the honey bee colony and provide them with any support they may require to thrive until our next monthly visit.  Bertha + Bee beekeepers will visit on a monthly basis and provide maintenance for your colony. When it comes time to harvest your honey, our bee keepers will extract the frames and spin the honey for you. Bertha + Bee will return the honey to you in custom designed glass jars. Even better, check out our custom-made honey drip frames available for purchase. The honey drip trays make such a statement and are available year round for purchase.
