INSTALLATION AND MAINTENENCE
Bertha + Bee is here for you and your chickens! Our chicken coops are made to house two to four egg laying hens. Upon delivery and set up, Bertha + Bee will provide one 50 pound bag of organic layer feed, pine shavings, a galvanized waterer, feeder and everything else you need for a successful rental. Bertha and Bee is available throughout your rental to be sure you feel comfortable with your chickens. With the standard rental of three hens you will collect about one dozen eggs per week.
Coops can be custom designed and painted to fit into your property. Coops have an enclosed area and run to allow the hens to eat bugs and get fresh air while being protected from predators. Taking care of your chickens is very low maintenance! Of course, your chickens would love to see you every day, but our oversized feeders last up to four days and our waterer can last up to six days. Bertha + Bee will be on site once a month to maintain the coops and take care of any chicken needs. Bertha + Bee’s chicken-loving staff is also available to take care of your chickens if you want to fly the coop for a few days!
